Dear Sirs:
I shall be spending two weeks in Germany shortly, mainly on business. I
represent a large British pharmaceuticals firm, Johnson's, of Birmingham. Most of the time will be spent travelling to our suppliers, agents and customers in the North of Germany. I would welcome the opportunity of seeing you while I am in Hamburg. Our Research and Development Manager asked me to write to you, and he would like me to meet either yourself of an experienced person in your Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Division. He has given me a folder of documents which he would like me to discuss with you.
I shall be in Hamburg on the 19th, 20th and 21st of May inclusive, and
I would be grateful if your secretary could fix an appointment. The time of day is unimportant.
