S: Yes, Mr. Li. As this is the first time we have done business with you,
we'd like to hear what you say concerning the matter of packing.

L: Very well, Mr. Smith. Different articles require different packing.
As for shirts, we use a polythene wrapper for each, ready for window display.
S: Good. As you will probably know, Mr. Li, your shirts will be in competition
with many others in our market. A wrapping that catches the eye will certainly
help us push the sales.
L: Yes, of course.

L: You can rest assured that our packing will be on a par with that of
other competitors, if not better.
史：因此不僅質量要好，包裝也要吸引人。我想這個問題你一定已經想到了。
李：你放心好了，我們的包裝如果不比別人的好，也可以和他們相比美。
S: I'm glad to hear that, Mr. Li. And what about the protective packing
during transit?
L: That will be packed 10 dozen to one carton, gross weight around 25
kilos.
史：那就好了，李先生。那么，在運輸途中有什么保護性的包裝呢？
李：每十打裝一紙板箱，毛重25公斤左右。
S: Good! What type?
L: Cardboard cartons, with stenciled shipping marks.
史：好，什么樣的紙板箱？

S: How about using wooden cases instead?
L: Well, it's not usual. Shirts are invariably packed in cardboard cartons
to save freight cost.
史：能不能改用木箱呢；
李：哦，通常不這么做。襯衫一般都用硬紙板箱包裝，省運費。
S: But will cardboard cartons be strong enough for long-distance transportation?
L: Of course they will. They are light and easy to handle. There'll be
no trouble with them.
S: I see. All right, we agree to cardboard cartons for outer packing.
史：可是，用于長途運輸，硬紙板箱夠結實嗎？
李：當然夠結實的。既輕便又容易搬運。不會有什么問題的。
